The Channor Group has carried out substanital works on the The Nexus Building in Blanchardstown Corporate Park, which has resulted in an improvement in the buildings BER rating from D1 to B3.
In line with the company’s policy of upgrading older office stock to improve ESG & green credentials when the opportunity presents itself, the works involved:
- Removing gas boilers, radiators and flourescent tube lighting
- Installation of efficient heat recovery ventilation as part of AHU replacement
- Installation of air to water heat pumps to replace boilers
- Air conditioning upgrade
- New LED lighting on PIR sensors
We also carried out substantial cosmetic upgrades to the lobby’s and common areas.
The 100,000 sq.ft office building was originally fitted out by Ebay as their European HQ in 2005, who subsequently vacated the building in 2010. The building is now 100% occupied by the HSE, Tusla, Ocuco, Allegro & GMC Utilities.
